February Update

Hi Guys,

We hope everyone is doing great!

Here are all the updates on what has happened in February and what we are doing in March:

FEBRUARY:

The manufacturing was really slow last month due to the Chinese New Year, but not for us! We got back from China with the first 4 units, which we had to assemble in house and run a few different batches of tests. We found a small error with the electrical components and made changes for the final units.

Regarding the software, we made final adjustments and tweaked a few details in order to get the best stabilization out there.

Many of you have requested that we add a mode that would allow a person to change the position of the camera in order to get 90 degree angle shots and we are happy to announce that we have added it! You can get a lot more creative with your shots, and the 90 degree angle is perfect for Instagram.

All the aforementioned units have been sent to Team Riders and we have been amazed by the results. Here is a video of Patrick Rebstock kite surfing with the Quark. These shots would not have been possible to get few months ago and the quality is just insane:

PRODUCTION:

Finally, production is back on track after the Chinese New Year!

We have received the modified plastic parts and are testing them right now. At the same time, we are waiting on the new electronic components that will arrive next week.

Once we have all the necessary parts, we will start assembling!

From this stage, things should go pretty fast. We will ship the Golden Quark first, and all the other Quarks in order. All orders will be shipped from our fulfillment center in Asia and you will receive an email with a corresponding tracking number once your order has shipped.

Make sure your address on your Indiegogo account is up to date! You can update it on the site or you can send it to us by email.

It’s the last mile and we are really excited to finally share our product with you and see what you will come up with using your Quark!

So when exactly is the “new estimated” shipment date? I ordered this a long time ago and will be moving within the next few months now. Trying to figure out if I should change my address now or wait and hope it gets here before I move.
