March Update

We hope everyone is doing great!
Here are all the updates on what has happened in March and what is planned for April:
We have been in China since the beginning of March. We received the new plastic parts that were supposed to arrive.
However after intensive testing, we found that the switch was not binding properly with the plastic material, resulting in possible waterproof failure during repetitive use. In order to resolve this issue we then modified the design to resolve this, pushing us back another couple of weeks. The good news is that we are starting to produce them and expect to have them by the end of the week.
Regarding the PCB, we have received them and tested them, and during test we noticed some small production errors that have since been rectified. As of right now we are flashing the PCB’s and submitting them to 5 different calibration tests for quality control.
We have also prepared a lot of crucial steps for the production process, including many fixtures and jigs to test different parameters to ensure a smooth and uniform assembly process.
All these changes have unfortunately affected the shipping timeline, we are now scheduled for an assembly starting next week and shipping for the end of the month.

We will do an update as soon as the units are ready and sent to our fulfillment partner to be shipped.
We are working really hard, 14hours per day 7days a week and pushing everything as fast as we can but unfortunately it’s taking time to make things right…
We know everybody is excited and looking forward to get their Quark and that you guys have waiting a long time and we are really thankful for your patience!

Pepe it’s actually the opposite, we are making sure everything is made the right way, if we would have sent units without those changes it would have been a prototype :)

You’d think this delay would only frustrate or infuriate, but as with anything new and innovative, I for one appreciate the extra measures taken to ensure the best possible product the first time around. A few weeks or even months delay wouldn’t deter me in the slightest. When all is said and done, it’s worth the wait.
Keep up the hard work everyone! Just don’t overwork yourselves. We still need you 😉

I am a patience person who went through the same when I pre-ordered a SOLOSHOT. I am very pleased with that piece of video equipment as I am confident with the Quark will be an excellent product. My life passion is competing in Cowboy Mounted Shooting and possessing these equipment contributes towards videoing myself and others in this sport.
